Horsham, PA (April, 19, 2024) Language Services Associates (LSA), a leading provider of language interpretation and translation solutions, is proud to announce the appointment of Scott Cooper to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LSA.  LSA’s Founder and former CEO, Laura K.T. Schriver, will continue to serve as Owner and Chair of LSA’s Board of Directors.  Following all required regulatory notices, the change became effective January 1, 2024.

Scott joined LSA in 2019. Under Scott’s leadership, LSA has experienced record growth, new innovations, and numerous awards for workplace positivity. In addition to serving as CEO, Scott a will also maintain his roles as President, General Council, and Board Member.

Scott came to LSA from Blank Rome LLP, where he practiced law for over 26 years. He was Firm-wide Chair of the Labor and Employment practice group, and eight times elected as a member of the Firm’s Management Committee. He had significant representations in the language services areas and related government regulation and represented LSA for over a decade before joining the company full time.

Laura Schriver founded LSA over three decades ago and through her unwavering dedication, transformed it into the industry-leading enterprise it is today. As the sole CEO in LSA’s history, and the driving force behind LSA’s growth, Laura has been instrumental in shaping the company’s identity and values.

Several years ago, Laura undertook the first of many steps to position LSA for decades to come. She hired and promoted a number of senior professionals to match the ever-growing complexity of the business. This transition of the CEO role, and the day-to-day operations that position entails, is just one of the carefully crafted strategies to sustain LSA’s success.
